Ah, burgers, one of the best reasons to look forward to summer! Discover the joy of homemade burgers and sink your teeth into this classic, juicy patty. With robust flavours of onion and garlic and a mild kick from some cayenne, we know you’ll agree that this burger is, indeed, ultimate! Round out your toppings with any of Epicure’s Sauces & Condiments.

Ingredients

  • 1 egg, optional
  • 2 tsp Dijon-style mustard
  • 2 tsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Burger Seasoning or Beef & Steak Seasoning
  • 1 tsp CCB Dip Mix or Cheesy Fries Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Buffalo Seasoning or Chipotle Aioli Mix
  • 1 12 lbs (675 g) ground beef
  • 6 burger buns

Preparation

  1. Whisk together egg (if using), mustard, ketchup, seasonings, and dip mix. Mix in beef. Wet hands to prevent sticking and form mixture into 6 patties.
  2. Grill on the barbecue over medium-high heat with the lid closed for 5 minutes. Flip patties and continue grilling for an additional 5 minutes.
  3. Split and toast buns, if desired. Tuck burgers into buns with additional toppings, if desired.
