Tomatoes are a good source of lycopene, a powerful antioxidant, which offers cancer protection.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 oz/398 ml) diced tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp Pesto Sauce Mix
  • 14 cup brown sugar
  • splash of balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • crushed chilies, to taste
  • Sea Salt, to taste
  • Black Pepper, to taste

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients in Multipurpose Pot - 8 Cup.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
