Tex Mex Ranch Burger
The long weekend is calling and it’s time to grill up some burgers! Sink your teeth into this saucy ranch burger and make sure to load up on the fresh toppings. This one is a little spicy, so if you’re not keen on spicy food, decrease the amount of dressing mix in the patties by about 1 tbsp for a milder, family-friendly version.
Ingredients
1 lb (450 g) lean ground beef
2 1⁄2 tbsp Southwest Ranch Dressing Mix, divided
4 slices cheese, such as cheddar or provolone
2 tbsp each mayo and sour cream
1 tbsp milk, your choice
4 burger buns
Preparation
Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Lightly brush with oil.
In a large bowl, combine beef and 2 tbsp dressing mix. Using a fork or your hands, mix until well blended. Form into four patties.
Grill with lid closed 3–4 min per side, or until cooked through. Add a cheese slice to each patty during the final minute of cooking.
To make sauce, whisk together mayo, sour cream, milk, and remaining 1⁄2 tbsp dressing mix.
Toast buns, if desired. Spread sauce on bottom bun, place patty on top. Add toppings, if desired.
