Steamed Broccoli with Warm Maple Bacon Dressing

The winning combination of warm maple and bacon dress-up steamed broccoli for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 large head broccoli, trimmed and cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 strips bacon, cut in bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tbsp Maple Spice Sweet Dip Mix
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 splash of white wine , optional
  • 14 cup finely diced red pepper

Preparation

  1. Cook broccoli in boiling salted water for 4 minutes, or until tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.
  2. While broccoli is cooking, pan-fry bacon in frying pan, stirring until slightly crisp. Sprinkle with Maple Spice Sweet Dip Mix.
  3. Add remaining ingredients to pan and bring to a quick boil. Drizzle over steamed broccoli immediately before serving.
  4. Toss gently to coat and serve.
