Southwest Turkey Burgers

Double down on the health benefits and swap out your meat for extra lean turkey, a great way to cut down on fat intake without compromising delicious flavour!

Ingredients

  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp 3 Onion Dip Mix
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 1 lb (450 g) lean ground turkey
  • 14 cup breadcrumbs
  • 12 tsp Sea Salt, freshly ground
  • 12 tsp Black Pepper, freshly ground

Preparation

  1. Whisk first 5 ingredients together in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Mix in turkey and breadcrumbs. Season with Salt and Pepper.
  3. Form into 4 - 1⁄2" thick patties.
  4. Cook for 10 minutes on greased grill over medium-high heat with lid closed, flipping once or until instant read thermometer indicates a Food Safe internal temperature of 175° F (80° C).
  5. Serve on crusty buns with lettuce, tomatoes and a dollop of your favourite prepared Epicure Dip.
