Slider Sloppy Joes

Small Sloppy Joes are irresistible to both kids and adults.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) lean ground beef, turkey, chicken, or soy
  • 1 medium onion, coarsely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Burger Seasoning
  • 2 cups tomato pasta sauce – your choice
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 8 slider hamburger buns

Preparation

  1. In a frying pan, cook meat and onion over medium-high heat for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
  2. Stir in Burger Seasoning, pasta sauce, vinegar, and brown sugar. Reduce heat to medium. Cover and simmer to let flavours blend, approximately 8–10 minutes.
  3. Place bottoms of buns on plates, then spoon mixture overtop. Cover with top buns.
