Salad with Warm Herb & Garlic Dressing

This simple green salad can be assembled and stored, covered, in the fridge. Add dressing immediately before serving.

Ingredients

  • 1 head Boston lettuce, or 6 cups baby spinach leaves
  • 14 cup diced red pepper
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Herb & Garlic Dip Mix or Rosemary Garlic Seasoning
  • Herbed Garlic Sea Salt Blend or sea salt, to taste
  • Black Pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese, optional

Preparation

  1. Place lettuce in serving bowl. Top with red pepper.
  2. Whisk together oil, vinegar and dip mix. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Quickly warm in a small saucepan or in the microwave.
  4. Drizzle over salad and toss quickly to coat. Sprinkle Parmesan overtop and serve immediately.
