Sage & Apple-stuffed Pork Chops
Pork is a great source of protein, vitamin B 12 and zinc – important for building strong, healthy bodies.
Ingredients
1 tbsp butter
1 apple, cored and chopped
1 tbsp Sage & Apple Stuffing Seasoning
1 cup toasted and cubed whole-grain bread
Black Pepper
1⁄4 cup prepared Nourish Broth
1 1⁄2 tsp Nourish Broth Mix
1 cup boiling water
4 (4 oz/ 120 g) boneless pork chops
2 tsp extra-virgin olive oil
Preparation
Add butter and apple to frying pan and sauté over medium-high heat until apple is soft and browned. Add Sage & Apple Stuffing Seasoning, bread, Black Pepper, and Nourish Bouillon. Heat thoroughly.
Slice each pork chop along one side to create a pocket. Stuff bread mixture into pocket.
Return pan to stove; add oil and sear pork chops on both sides for 3–5 minutes. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook for an additional 5–8 minutes.
