Saffron Garlic Aioli
An excellent dip for seafood, chicken strips or vegetables. Delicious for dipping chilled asparagus.
Ingredients
1⁄4 tsp saffron
1 tbsp boiling water
1 garlic clove, crushed
1⁄2 cup mayonnaise
Sea Salt, to taste
Black Pepper, to taste
Preparation
Steep saffron in boiling water for 5 minutes.
Add crushed garlic to mayonnaise. Add saffron and water.
Season to taste with Sea Salt and Black Pepper.
Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 30 minutes to allow flavours to develop.
