Royal Icing is a hard white icing used to decorate cookies, wedding cakes and gingerbread houses.

Ingredients

  • 2 12 cups icing sugar, sifted
  • 2 large egg whites

Preparation

  1. In a mixer, beat the egg whites until stiff.
  2. Add icing sugar. Adjust icing sugar amount for desired decorating consistency.
