Rise and shine with the ultimate brunch stars you’ve been dreaming of, scones! And, they don’t play favourites. They’re equally fantastic whether you’re craving a sweet treat or a savoury surprise (try adding 3 Onion or CCB Dip Mix). Whip them up for special occasions or indulge in a lazy Sunday brunch.

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 12 cup milk, your choice
  • 12 cup unsalted butter, cold
  • 1 pkg Quick Biscuit Mix
  • 2 tsp Apple Pie Spice
  • or 2 tbsp Summer Berry Sweet Dip Mix

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 425° F. Line Sheet Pan with Sheet Pan Liner.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk egg with milk. Set aside.
  3. Cube butter; place in a large bowl with biscuit mix and spice. Using a fork or a pastry blender, cut butter until it’s the size of small peas. Add egg mixture and stir until evenly moistened.
  4. Gently knead dough to form a ball; press out into an 8" circle. Using a sharp knife, cut into 8 wedges. Pull wedges apart and place on pan. Bake until golden-brown, 17–20 min.
