Queso Blanco Rosé Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground turkey
  • 1 can (14 oz/398 ml) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 pkg Queso Blanco Hot Dip Mix
  • 1 12 cups milk
  • 1 cup grated Pepper Jack cheese, divided
  • 3 tbsp Marinara Sauce Mix
  • 3 cups uncooked, bite-sized pasta, like penne or rotini

Preparation

  1. In Multipurpose Steamer, place turkey, crushed tomatoes, dip mix, milk, 1⁄2 cup Pepper Jack cheese, and sauce mix. Using the Ground Meat Separator, mix thoroughly. Cover and microwave on high for 8 min.
  2. Meanwhile, add pasta to Multipurpose Pot with boiling water. Cook 5 min (pasta will be undercooked). Drain and set aside.
  3. When sauce is cooked, stir in pasta. Top with remaining cheese. Cover and microwave on high for 7 min, or until pasta is tender.
  4. For softer pasta, let rest in steamer for 3 min after microwaving and before removing lid.

Don't have Marinara Sauce Mix? Try Italian Seasoning or Pesto Sauce Mix instead.
