Penne with Cherry Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) whole-grain penne
  • 3 cups cherry tomatoes, chopped
  • 3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 14 cup dry white wine
  • 12 cup Nourish Broth, prepared
  • 1 12 tsp Nourish Broth Mix
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 8 large basil leaves, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 14 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 14 tsp crushed chilies, or to taste

Preparation

  1. In Multipurpose Pot, cook penne according to package directions.
  2. In a frying pan or Wok over high heat, add tomatoes, oil, wine, Bouillon, basil, Minced Garlic, sugar and crushed chilies, and cook until boiling. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer approximately 10 minutes.
  3. Add pasta to sauce, toss, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and toss again. Serve immediately.
