Pear & Apple Crumble Pancakes
Ingredients
1 tbsp Apple Pie Spice
2 tbsp oatmeal
1 recipe Homemade Mix and Pancakes
10 cups all-purpose flour
2 1⁄2 cups instant non-fat dry milk
1 cup sugar
1⁄2 cup + 2 tbsp baking powder
2 tbsp Sea Salt
1 cup water
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 tbsp vegetable oil
1 1⁄2 cups Epicure's Homemade Pancake Mix
1 tbsp butter
1 apple, thinly sliced
1 pear, thinly sliced
1 tbsp brown sugar
juice of 1/2 small lemon
Preparation
Fold Apple Pie Spice and oatmeal into Homemade Pancake batter.
Cook according to Homemade Mix and Pancake recipe directions. Keep warm in a low oven.
In frying pan, melt butter, then add apple, pear, sugar, and lemon juice. Sauté for approximately 5 minutes, then spoon over pancakes.
