Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Apple Pie Spice
  • 2 tbsp oatmeal
  • 1 recipe Homemade Mix and Pancakes
  • 10 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 12 cups instant non-fat dry milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 12 cup + 2 tbsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp Sea Salt
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 12 cups Epicure's Homemade Pancake Mix
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 apple, thinly sliced
  • 1 pear, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • juice of 1/2 small lemon

Preparation

  1. Fold Apple Pie Spice and oatmeal into Homemade Pancake batter.
  2. Cook according to Homemade Mix and Pancake recipe directions. Keep warm in a low oven.
  3. In frying pan, melt butter, then add apple, pear, sugar, and lemon juice. Sauté for approximately 5 minutes, then spoon over pancakes.
