Peaches with Spiced Vanilla Syrup

A great dessert when peaches are in season, or use frozen peach slices to enjoy this recipe year-round.

Ingredients

  • 12 cup water
  • 14 cup sugar
  • 14 tsp Apple Pie Spice
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 large, ripe peaches, halved and pitted

Preparation

  1. Combine water, sugar, and Apple Pie Spice in a Multipurpose Pot. Bring to a boil over medium heat and simmer until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and add vanilla extract.
  2. While syrup is reducing, arrange peaches in a Multipurpose Steamer. Cook on high for 5–7 min.
  3. Place two peach halves on each dessert plate, drizzle with syrup, and serve.
