A great dessert when peaches are in season, or use frozen peach slices to enjoy this recipe year-round.
Ingredients
1⁄2 cup water
1⁄4 cup sugar
1⁄4 tsp Apple Pie Spice
2 tsp vanilla extract
4 large, ripe peaches, halved and pitted
Preparation
Combine water, sugar, and Apple Pie Spice in a Multipurpose Pot. Bring to a boil over medium heat and simmer until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and add vanilla extract.
While syrup is reducing, arrange peaches in a Multipurpose Steamer. Cook on high for 5–7 min.
Place two peach halves on each dessert plate, drizzle with syrup, and serve.
