Pasta with Cabbage and Bacon

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) long pasta, any kind
  • 6 strips bacon, cut into thick matchsticks (julienned)
  • 1 tbsp Marinara Sauce Mix
  • 1 small Savoy cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1 - 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • Sea Salt, to taste
  • Black Pepper, to taste

Preparation

  1. In Multipurpose Pot, cook pasta according to package instructions.
  2. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and sauté bacon until about half done. Add Marinara Sauce Mix and heat until aromatic. Add cabbage and toss well.
  3. Stir in hot pasta and white wine vinegar, tossing to evenly coat. Season with Salt and Pepper before serving.
