Orange Chicken Wings
These wings have it all: sweet, tangy, and citrusy! They’re also super saucy, so if you prefer a less saucy wing, use 2 lbs (900 g) chicken wings for a lighter bite. We’re also spilling the secret to crispy air fryer wing perfection: baking powder, to ensure that irresistible crunch without the heavy breading.
Ingredients
1 1⁄2 lbs (675 g) chicken wings
1 pkg Sticky Orange Chicken Seasoning or General Tao Seasoning, divided
1 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp oil
1⁄2 cup orange juice
2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
2 tbsp water
Preparation
Preheat air fryer to 400° F.
In a large bowl, toss wings with 1 tbsp seasoning and baking powder; toss with oil. Air fry 13–15 min, or until cooked through, turning halfway. (You may need to air fry wings in 2 batches, depending on the size of your air fryer).
Meanwhile, in Wok, whisk remaining seasoning, orange juice, soy sauce, and water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly. Reduce heat; simmer until sauce has thickened to your liking.
Add cooked chicken wings to Wok; toss with sauce until evenly coated. Sprinkle on toppings, if desired.
