Mushroom & Pepper Tartine

A tartine is an elegantly topped, open-faced French sandwich.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread, your choice, cut from a round loaf
  • 12 cup Herb & Garlic Spread, prepared
  • 1 tbsp Herb & Garlic Dip Mix
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup baby arugula or spinach
  • 1 recipe Marinated Mushrooms
  • 2 cups halved mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 34 cup Marinara Bread Dipper, prepared
  • 1 tbsp Marinara Sauce Mix
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 13 cup olive oil
  • Sea Salt
  • Black Pepper

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 375° F (190° C).
  2. Place bread on a crisper. Toast for 5 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  3. To assemble, top each slice with spread, arugula leaves, then mushrooms.
