Mushroom & Pepper Tartine
A tartine is an elegantly topped, open-faced French sandwich.
Ingredients
4 slices of bread, your choice, cut from a round loaf
1⁄2 cup Herb & Garlic Spread, prepared
1 tbsp Herb & Garlic Dip Mix
1 cup cream cheese
1 cup baby arugula or spinach
1 recipe Marinated Mushrooms
2 cups halved mushrooms
1 tbsp water
3⁄4 cup Marinara Bread Dipper, prepared
1 tbsp Marinara Sauce Mix
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1⁄3 cup olive oil
Sea Salt
Black Pepper
Preparation
Preheat oven to 375° F (190° C).
Place bread on a crisper. Toast for 5 minutes, flipping halfway through.
To assemble, top each slice with spread, arugula leaves, then mushrooms.
