Mulled Wine with Citrus-Brandy
Greet winter guests with the most welcoming hot drink of the season.
Ingredients
4 cups red wine
1 tbsp Mulling Spices
1⁄2 cup brandy, optional
cinnamon sticks, for garnish, optional
2 oranges, thinly sliced, for garnish, optional
2 lemons, thinly sliced, for garnish, optional
Preparation
Gently simmer wine and Mulling Spices in a Multipurpose Pot over medium heat for a minimum 15 minutes.
Strain and return to the pot. Stir in brandy and simmer covered for 5 minutes.
Sweeten to taste. Serve garnished with cinnamon sticks and orange and lemon slices, if desired.

Tips
To make a non-alcohol version, simply swap wine and brandy for apple juice.
