Mulled Wine with Citrus-Brandy

Greet winter guests with the most welcoming hot drink of the season.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups red wine
  • 1 tbsp Mulling Spices
  • 12 cup brandy, optional
  • cinnamon sticks, for garnish, optional
  • 2 oranges, thinly sliced, for garnish, optional
  • 2 lemons, thinly sliced, for garnish, optional

Preparation

  1. Gently simmer wine and Mulling Spices in a Multipurpose Pot over medium heat for a minimum 15 minutes.
  2. Strain and return to the pot. Stir in brandy and simmer covered for 5 minutes.
  3. Sweeten to taste. Serve garnished with cinnamon sticks and orange and lemon slices, if desired.

Tips
