Mini Sundaes with Caramel Sauce

One of the sweetest taste-trends today is salted caramel. Enjoy this mini dessert with luxurious caramel sauce and a little of Epicure’s Sea Salt.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp Hot Buttered Rum Mix
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • vanilla ice cream
  • Sea Salt, optional

Preparation

  1. Combine whipping cream with Hot Buttered Rum in a Multipurpose Pot - 8 cup and bring to a boil for 3–5 minutes. Cool to room temperature. Stir in vanilla extract.
  2. Using a stainless steel mini portion scoop, scoop ice cream into verrines or other small glasses. Drizzle with caramel sauce and serve with Sea Salt, if desired.
