Mexican Hot Layer Dip
Ingredients
1⁄2 lb (225 g) lean ground beef
1 tbsp Fajita Seasoning
1 cup Poco Picante Salsa, prepared
2 tbsp Poco Picante Salsa Mix
1 cup diced tomatoes
1 tsp lime juice, optional
cilantro, optional
1 cup Creamy Guacamole Dip, prepared
3 tbsp Guacamole Dip Mix
2 ripe avocados, peeled, pitted and mashed
1⁄2 cup light sour cream
1 tbsp lemon or lime juice
1⁄2 cup grated low-fat cheddar cheese
1⁄2 cup shredded lettuce
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350° F (175° C).
In a fry pan, brown beef over medium-high heat
Drain excess fat, add Fajita Seasoning, and place in an oven-safe dish.
Layer salsa and guacamole over beef and top with cheese.
Bake with lid off for 5 minutes to melt cheese. Top with lettuce and serve.
