Marinara & Cheese Pizza

Fun and family-friendly! Call the kids in to help top this delicious, healthier house-made pizza.

Ingredients

  • 1 thin whole-grain or gluten-free prepared pizza shell (12”)
  • 4 tsp olive oil
  • Sea Salt, to taste
  • Black Pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup prepared Marinara Sauce
  • 1 can (28 oz/796 ml) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (28 oz/796 ml) crushed tomatoes
  • 3 tbsp Marinara Sauce Mix
  • 8 oz (250 g) fresh mozzarella, torn into small pieces

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 450° F.
  2. Place pizza shell on a Sheet Pan lined with Sheet Pan Liner. Brush with oil and season with Salt and Pepper, if desired.
  3. Bake for 5 min, until crisp.
  4. Remove from oven. Spread with Marinara Sauce and sprinkle with cheese.
  5. Return to oven and bake for 5 min, until cheese melts.
