Ingredients

  • 1 - 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 recipe prepared Classic Waffles
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch Sea Salt, finely ground
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk, your choice
  • 14 cup oil, + extra for brushing
  • 8 oz (225 g) smoked salmon, sliced or chunked
  • 1 cup Lemon Dilly Dip, prepared
  • 3 tbsp Lemon Dilly Dip Mix
  • 1 cup light sour cream
  • 1 cup light mayonnaise
  • lemon wedges, for garnish – optional

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 425 °F (220 °C).
  2. Place Waffle Mold on Sheet Pan. Using a basting brush, lightly brush Waffle Mold with vegetable oil.
  3. Pour approximately 1⁄4 cup of batter into each Waffle Mold until it fills all corners.
  4. Bake until golden, approximately 13–15 minutes. Let cool for 2 minutes, or until Waffle Mold is cool to the touch. Gently remove waffles from Waffle Mold.
  5. Serve with smoked salmon, Lemon Dilly Dip, and lemon wedges, if you like.
