Hot Buttered Rum Apple Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp butter
  • 2 tbsp Hot Buttered Rum Mix
  • 2 apples, peel-on, cored and sliced
  • 14 cup prepared Epicure Salad Dressing, your choice
  • 8 cups chopped salad greens
  • 14 English cucumber, thinly sliced

Preparation

  1. In a frying pan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in Hot Buttered Rum.
  2. When foamy, add apples. Sauté, stirring often, just until apples start to soften, 2–4 minutes. Stir in Salad Dressing, then remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. Place salad greens in a large bowl. Add cucumber, apples, and dressing. Toss to mix. Serve immediately.
