Hot Black Bean Dip

A little spicy, very satisfying – and so simple. Kids love the melted cheese! Make it in the oven or the microwave.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (19 oz/540 g) black beans
  • 3 tbsp Guacamole Dip Mix or Poco Picante Salsa Mix
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 23 cup cold water
  • grated cheese, to taste

Preparation

  1. If baking, preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. In food processor, combine beans with dip mix, lime juice, and water. Blend until smooth. Spoon into heat-proof serving dish. Top with grated cheese and heat in microwave or oven until bubbling.
