Ingredients
2 cups uncooked macaroni or bite-size pasta
1 lb (450 g) lean ground beef
2 cups prepared Tomato Soup or Marinara Sauce
1 pkg Tomato Soup Seasoning
1 can (6 oz/156 ml) tomato paste
4 cups water
2 tbsp heavy cream, optional
1 can (28 oz/796 ml) diced tomatoes
1 can (28 oz/796 ml) crushed tomatoes
3 tbsp Marinara Sauce Mix
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
Preparation
Cook pasta in a large pot according to package directions. Drain well.
Meanwhile, place beef in Multipurpose Steamer. Cover; microwave on high 4 min, or until beef is cooked through. Once cooked, carefully drain excess liquid from steamer. Use Ground Meat Separator to break up chunks.
Add cooked pasta and soup to Steamer; stir to combine. Top with cheese. Microwave, uncovered, 3 min, or until casserole is heated through and cheese is bubbly.
Let casserole rest, uncovered, 5 min, before serving.
