Greek-style Burgers
A Mediterranean twist on burgers - ready in just 30 minutes!
Ingredients
1 large egg, beaten
1 garlic clove, crushed
1⁄2 small onion, finely diced
1 tbsp Lemon Dilly Dip Mix or Bruschetta Seasoning
1 tsp Sea Salt, freshly ground
1 tsp Black Pepper, freshly ground
1 1⁄4 lbs (560 g) extra-lean ground beef
1⁄4 cup dry breadcrumbs, or gluten free breadcrumbs
1⁄4 cup crumbled feta cheese
2 tbsp olive oil
Preparation
Whisk first 6 ingredients in a stainless steel mixing bowl.
Add ground beef, breadcrumbs and feta, mixing gently to combine.
With water moistened hands, form mixture into 4 — 3⁄4" patties.
Grill over medium-high heat with lid closed for 4 minutes each side, or until an instant-read thermometer indicates a Food Safe internal temperature of 160° F (70° C).
