Fudgy, fast, and gluten-free! Harness the power of microwave baking when you need a batch of brownies fast. These “bad boys” have less sugar than other mixes on the market, without skimping on the rich, indulgent flavour we crave.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg Fudgy Brownie Mix
  • 12 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp–14 cup milk, your choice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Preparation

  1. In a large bowl, combine mix with butter. Add eggs, 1⁄4 cup milk, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined. Scrape into oiled Square Steamer.
  2. Microwave, uncovered, on high 4 min. Rest in pan for 6 min and unmold. Cool before serving.
  3. Preheat oven to 350˚ F.
  4. In a large bowl, combine mix with butter. Add eggs, 2 tbsp milk, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined. Scrape into oiled Square Steamer.
  5. Bake 20–25 min, or until toothpick comes out mostly clean, with a few crumbs on it. Cool in pan before serving.

Tips

Stir 1⁄4 cup walnuts or chocolate chips into batter.

Swap different extracts for vanilla—try peppermint, orange, or cherry extract!
