This is the viral TikTok sensation that you need to try! It’s a mashup of two comfort food faves—pasta and French onion soup—all in one pot. Ingredients
1⁄2 lb (225 g) uncooked rigatoni, about 3 cups
3 cups low-sodium broth, your choice
2 tbsp French Onion Dp Mix or Toasted Onion
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1⁄4 cup half and half cream (10%)
1⁄4 cup grated Gruyère cheese
Preparation
In Sauté Pan over medium-high heat, add rigatoni, broth, dip mix, and vinegar.
Cover; cook 14–16 min, stirring occasionally, or until pasta is al dente. Reduce heat to medium if liquid is bubbling too vigorously.
If pasta is not cooked within 16 min, add a bit more broth, cover, and cook an additional 1–2 min. If there is too much water left over when the pasta is done, uncover and cook a few more minutes to let excess liquid evaporate.
Remove from heat, stir in cream and cheese until cheese is melted.
