Hungry bellies? Nothing like a hearty, beefy dish to turn 'em into happy bellies. Take a couple minutes to prep the roast, then let your slow cooker do its thing. This is a great solution to any of your meal prep woes.
Ingredients
3 lbs (1.3 kg) beef chuck roast
1 tbsp oil
1 pkg Cincinnati Chili Seasoning
1 cup Better Than Beef Broth
1 tbsp Better Than Beef Broth Mix
1 cup boiling water
1 can (6 oz/156 ml) tomato paste
Preparation
Cut roast lengthwise into 3" thick slices. Heat oil in Sauté Pan and brown beef 2 min per side.
In a slow cooker, combine seasoning with broth and tomato paste. Place beef in slow cooker, turning to coat with seasoning mixture. Cover and cook on low 6 hrs.
Remove beef from slow cooker onto a cutting board. Using two forks, shred beef. Add shredded beef back into slow cooker and stir to combine with sauce.
Serve in tacos, burritos, sandwiches, rice bowls, and more.
