Elderflower Tea Margarita
A lemony tea twist on the classic!
Ingredients
1⁄2 lime or lemon, cut into wedges
Sea Salt, enough to trim glass rim
lemon zest, enough to trim glass rim
ice cubes
1 oz tequila
1 oz limoncello liqueur
1⁄2 cup Elderflower Cordial Herbal Tea, or green tea of your choice, prepared, chilled
4 tbsp lime or lemon juice
Preparation
Moisten the rim of a margarita glass with a lime or lemon wedge. Sprinkle Sea Salt and lemon zest on a small plate. Invert the glass in the trimmer, rotating gently to “frost” the rim evenly. Set aside.
In a cocktail shaker, combine remaining ingredients. Add more tea if you are using a highball glass.
Shake well and strain into the prepared glass. Garnish with a lime or lemon wedge.

Tips
Make it a mocktail: Replace tequila and limoncello with defrosted frozen limeade or lemonade and replace lime or lemon juice with more tea or soda water.
