El Dorado Guacamole

Your favourite guacamole with a brand-new face! For an easy and elegant appetizer, simply top with fresh shrimp!

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Guacamole Dip Mix
  • 2 ripe avocados, halved, the flesh mashed and the shells reserved
  • 12 cup light sour cream, optional
  • 1 tbsp lemon or lime juice
  • 1 recipe prepared El Dorado sauce

Preparation

  1. Combine Guacamole Dip Mix, avocado, sour cream, if using, and lemon or lime juice. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow flavours to blend.
  2. Scoop Guacamole back into avocado halves or bowl. Swirl sauce into Guacamole, and serve.
  3. Serve with lime wedges and fresh tortilla chips or crackers.
