Eggcellent Breakfast Pizza

Pizza alla Bismark, or cooked egg on pizza, is a delicious Italian tradition — a good excuse to have pizza for breakfast!

Ingredients
  • 1 prepared whole-wheat pizza shell (12"/30 cm)

  • 14 cup Marinara Sauce, or Pesto Sauce, prepared

  • 1 can (28 oz/796 ml) diced tomatoes

  • 1 can (28 oz/796 ml) crushed tomatoes

  • 3 tbsp Marinara Sauce Mix

  • 2 tsp 3 Onion Dip Mix

  • 1 large tomato, sliced

  • 1 bell pepper, cut into rings

  • 4 eggs

  • 13 cup grated Parmesan cheese or pecorino cheese

  • 1 cup baby spinach

Instructions
  • Preheat oven to 425° F (220° C).

  • Place shell on a crisper and spread evenly with sauce, leaving a 1⁄2" border around edge. Sprinkle with dip mix and arrange tomato and peppers on top.

  • Bake until shell starts to brown, about 8–10 minutes. Remove from oven and crack eggs on top. Sprinkle with cheese and continue to bake for about 5 minutes, until eggs are set but yolks are still runny. Slice and top with greens prior to serving.
