Easy Roasted Beef Tenderloin

Ingredients

  • 4 lbs (1.8 kg) fillet of beef tenderloin, trimmed and tied
  • 2 tbsp Beef & Steak Seasoning or Montreal Steak Rub
  • Sea Salt, to taste
  • Black Pepper, to taste

Preparation

  1. Bring meat up to room temperature before roasting. Preheat oven to 400° F (205° C).
  2. Rub tenderloin with Seasoning, Sea Salt, and Black Pepper.
  3. Place on Sheet Pan lined with Sheet Pan Liner, and roast until internal temperature reaches 125° F (50° C) for rare, or 135° F (58° C) for medium-rare, approximately 35–45 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven, and cover. Let stand 15 minutes before slicing.
