Easy Cheesy Tuna Melts
The avocados in guacamole are an excellent source of monounsaturated fats.
Ingredients
2 cans (4 oz/120 g) light tuna
1⁄2 cup Creamy Guacamole Dip, prepared
3 tbsp Guacamole Dip Mix
2 ripe avocados, peeled, pitted and mashed
1⁄2 cup light sour cream
1 tbsp lemon or lime juice
1 apple, diced
4 whole-wheat pitas or tortillas
3⁄4 cup low-fat marble cheese, grated
Preparation
Preheat oven to 400° F (205 °C).
Combine tuna, Guacamole Dip and apple in a mixing bowl.
Place pitas or tortillas on parchment-lined Sheet Pan. Top with tuna mixture and cheese.
Bake until cheese melts and pita is crisp. Serve warm.
