Earl Grey Tea Cookies

These are delicious tea cookies, infused with the magic of Earl Grey!

Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting

  • 1 tbsp Earl Grey tea

  • 14 tsp Sea Salt

  • 14 tsp vanilla extract

  • 12 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 14 cup icing sugar

  • 1 tbsp finely grated orange or lemon zest, optional

  • 1 tsp water

Instructions
  • In a food processor, pulse all dry ingredients until tea is pulverized.

  • Add vanilla extract, butter, sugar, orange or lemon zest, if using, and water. Pulse until a dough starts to come together. Remove the dough onto a piece of wax or parchment paper and form into a log. Wrap the paper around and roll the log smooth. Chill for at least 30 minutes or freeze for later use.

  • Preheat oven to 375° F (190° C).

  • Slice the log into approximately 1⁄2’’ discs. Space 1’’ apart on a Sheet Pan lined with a Sheet Pan Liner. Bake until edges are slightly golden, 12–14 minutes.
