Diner-style Wedge Salad

Epicure Big Burger Sauce is an excellent burger topper, but think beyond the bun: it’s also great as a sandwich spread, or thin with a little water to make a dressing for lettuce wedge salads.

Ingredients

  • 12 head iceberg lettuce, cut into wedges
  • 12 cup Big Burger Sauce, prepared
  • 2 tbsp Big Burger Sauce Mix
  • 1 cup light mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp relish
  • warm water, to taste
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 8 red onion rings, optional

Preparation

  1. Place lettuce on plates. Stir warm water into Big Burger Sauce to thin to desired consistency. Drizzle over lettuce wedges.
  2. Top with tomatoes, carrot, and onion, if you wish.
