Creamy Sesame Coleslaw

A perfect side dish to bring to bring to backyard potlucks or summer BBQ’s. It’s got all the freshness and crunch from classic coleslaw, but with a sensational creamy sesame dressing twist! Delicious served alongside grilled chicken, fish, or steak, or used as a base for a power bowl at lunch.

Ingredients
  • 1 red bell pepper

  • 1 pkg (14 oz/397 g) coleslaw mix

  • 1 cup bean sprouts

  • 12 cup prepared Sesame Noodle Salad Dressing or Ultimate Umami Bomb Sauce

  • 2 tbsp Sesame Noodle Salad Dressing Mix

  • 1 12 tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • 1 tbsp water

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

  • 14 cup oil 

  • 2 tsp sesame oil

  • 3 tbsp Red Pepper Jelly

  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce, or gluten free soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar

  • 1 tbsp Asian Stir-Fry Seasoning

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

  • 1 tsp crushed chilies

  • 12 cup chopped unsalted peanuts, optional

Instructions
  • Thinly slice pepper. In a large bowl, add pepper, coleslaw mix, and bean sprouts.

  • Add dressing; toss to coat.

  • Sprinkle with peanuts, if desired.

Tips
