Cream Cheese Swirl Brownies
Brownies, meet cheesecake. Two awesome treats coming together in one epic dessert! Rich, chocolaty brownies and creamy cheesecake swirls give it a show-stopping presentation. Give them as gifts or serve them for guests—just be prepared for all the “oohs” and “aahs” from your family and friends!
Ingredients
1 pkg Fudgy Brownie Mix
1⁄2 cup unsalted butter, melted
3 eggs, divided
2 tbsp milk, your choice
1 1⁄2 tsp vanilla extract, divided
1 brick (8 oz/250 g) cream cheese, softened
1⁄4 cup granulated sugar
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350˚ F. Lightly oil Square Steamer; place on 1⁄4 Sheet Pan.
In a large bowl, combine mix and melted butter. Add 2 eggs, milk, and 1 tsp vanilla extract. Stir until well combined. Reserve 2⁄3 cup of batter and set aside. Scrape remaining batter into steamer; spread out evenly.
In a small bowl, beat cream cheese with sugar. Beat in remaining egg and 1⁄2 tsp vanilla extract until smooth. Pour over batter in steamer and smooth out to the edges.
Using 1 heaping tbsp as a guide, dollop reserved brownie batter over cream cheese mixture. Use a butterknife to cut through the batter to make swirls.
Bake, uncovered, 35 min, or until edges are golden and toothpick comes out mostly clean, with a few crumbs on it. Let cool before slicing.
