Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp cranberry sauce

  • 34 cup fresh or frozen cranberries

  • 14 cup brown sugar

  • zest and juice of 1/2 orange

  • 1 recipe prepared Pancakes & Waffles

  • 1 pkg Pancake & Waffle Mix

  • 1 egg

  • 1 cup milk, your choice

  • 2 tbsp oil, + more for cooking

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Summer Berry Sweet Dip Mix, to taste

  • icing sugar or maple syrup, to taste

Instructions
  • In a saucepan, heat first 4 ingredients over medium heat. Once it comes to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer, gently squishing cranberries, until it reaches a jam-like consistency, approximately 10 minutes.

  • Serve waffles open faced, topped with cranberry orange sauce. Refrigerate any leftover sauce. Top with Sweet Dip Mix, icing sugar, or maple syrup, if desired.
