Christmas Crack
Oh my gosh, this is so good! But, don’t take our word for it: you’ve gotta try it yourself. The “crack” in this festive fave comes from the crispy crackers hidden under a layer of buttery toffee and rich chocolate. It’s so irresistible, you might just find yourself sneaking a piece (or three) before the holiday guests arrive. You can sprinkle more than just sweet dip mix on top—try shredded coconut, chopped nuts, holiday sprinkles, or anything else you want!

Ingredients
24 saltine crackers
1⁄2 cup unsalted butter
1 pkg True North Butter Tart Mix
3⁄4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1–2 tbsp Cranapple Cinnamon Sweet Dip Mix
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400° F. Line 1⁄4 Sheet Pan with 1⁄4 Sheet Pan Liner.
Arrange crackers on pan in a single layer.
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add mix; bring to a boil. Whisk constantly until well combined and the colour has deepened, about 1 min.
Pour mixture over crackers. Using a spatula, spread into an even layer. Bake 5–6 min, or until bubbly.
Remove from oven. Immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips and let stand 5 min. Once chocolate has melted, spread evenly over crackers, then sprinkle with sweet dip mix.
Refrigerate until set, 1–2 hr. Break into pieces to serve.
