Chocolate Hazelnut Strawberry Tartine

A tartine is an elegantly topped, open-faced French sandwich.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread, your choice, cut from a round loaf
  • 34 cup Chocolate Hazelnut Spread, prepared
  • 1 cup hazelnuts
  • 1 cup almonds
  • 34 cup icing sugar
  • 12 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch Sea Salt
  • 2 cups strawberries, sliced

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 375° F (190° C).
  2. Place bread on a crisper. Toast for 5 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  3. To assemble, top toasts with Chocolate Hazelnut Spread, strawberries, and a sprinkle of sweet dip mix.
