Chocolate Cut-Outs

Ingredients

  • 2 34 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 12 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 12 cups sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp milk

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F (175° C).
  2. Whisk together first four ingredients. Set aside.
  3. Cream butter, sugar and vanilla extract in a separate bowl.
  4. Beat in eggs, one at a time, mixing until smooth. Stir in milk.
  5. Add flour mixture to creamed mixture, beating until smooth.
  6. Roll dough out on a lightly floured work surface. Cut and place on Sheet Pan lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate for 10 minutes, then bake for 12–15 minutes.
  7. Cool before decorating.
