Chocolate Bliss Bars

Ingredients
  • 1 pkg Fudgy Brownie Mix

  • 12 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 eggs

  • 14 cup milk, your choice

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 9 Petite Turtle Caramels, cut into thirds

  • 50 pecan halves

  • 3 tbsp chocolate chips

  • 34 cup brown sugar, packed

  • 12 cup butter, cubed

  • 1 can (300 ml) sweetened condensed milk

  • 12 tsp vanilla extract

  • Sea Salt, to taste

  • 34 cup chocolate fudge sauce or caramel sauce, chilled

Instructions
  • Preheat oven to 350° F. Line an 8” square pan with parchment paper.

  • In large bowl, combine mix with butter. Add eggs, milk, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.

  • Scrape half the batter into prepared pan; bake for 10 min. Scatter caramel pieces over baked brownie; gently press in. Scrape remaining batter on top and smooth; bake until edges are firm and centre is set, about 30 more min.

  • Meanwhile, using a hand mixer, beat chilled fudge or caramel sauce until light and fluffy.

  • Refrigerate to cool brownies completely, about 1 hour. Spread icing on top. Cut into bars or squares.

Tips

To speed up prep time, make Petite Turtle Caramels a day before baking the bars.
