Cheeseburger Mac & Cheese
Ingredients
1 tsp olive oil
1 onion, diced
1 lb (450 g) lean ground beef
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 recipe prepared Mac & Cheese
2 cups bite-sized pasta, your choice
1⁄3 cup milk, your choice
1 pkg Mac & Cheese Seasoning
2 tbsp butter, optional
1⁄4 cup grated cheese, your choice – optional
Preparation
Place frying pan over medium heat and coat with oil. Add onion and beef and sauté for about 5 minutes, until beef is almost cooked through. Add peppers and cook for about 3 minutes, until tender-crisp.
Fold beef mixture into Mac & Cheese and stir until evenly mixed. Sprinkle with cheese, if you wish.
