Cheeseburger Mac & Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 lb (450 g) lean ground beef
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 recipe prepared Mac & Cheese
  • 2 cups bite-sized pasta, your choice
  • 13 cup milk, your choice
  • 1 pkg Mac & Cheese Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp butter, optional
  • 14 cup grated cheese, your choice – optional

Preparation

  1. Place frying pan over medium heat and coat with oil. Add onion and beef and sauté for about 5 minutes, until beef is almost cooked through. Add peppers and cook for about 3 minutes, until tender-crisp.
  2. Fold beef mixture into Mac & Cheese and stir until evenly mixed. Sprinkle with cheese, if you wish.
