Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 tsp Jerk Seasoning
  • 3 cans (19 oz /540 ml) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 34 cup orange juice
  • Sea Salt, to taste
  • Black Pepper, to taste

Preparation

  1. In a frying pan, sauté onion and garlic in vegetable oil over medium-high heat for 5 min or until onions are softened.
  2. Add seasoning, orange juice and black beans, simmer for 15 min stirring frequently.
  3. Season to taste with Salt and Pepper.
