Ingredients
2 tbsp olive oil
2 large onions
6 cups boiling water
4 tbsp Better Than Beef Broth Mix
2 tbsp French Onion Dip Mix or 3 Onion Dip Mix
1 tbsp Dijon mustard, optional
6 thickly cut slices French bread
6 slices Swiss cheese
Preparation
Heat oil in Wok or a large pot over medium-high heat. Thinly slice onions; add to Wok, and slowly cook, stirring often, until onions are lightly golden, about 15 min.
While onions are cooking, preheat oven to 350° F.
To Wok, add water, Better Than Beef Broth Mix, French Onion Dip Mix, and mustard, if using. Simmer 8–10 min.
Place bread slices on Sheet Pan lined with Sheet Pan Liner. Top with cheese and bake until melted and golden, about 3–4 min.
Pour soup into bowls and top with toasted cheese bread.
