Caramelized Balsamic Onions

Ingredients
3 medium onions, cut in thin wedges
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
3 tbsp water
Sea Salt, to taste
Black Pepper, to taste
Instructions
Sauté onions in olive oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat for 5 minutes. Add sugar, balsamic vinegar and water, and cook for another 5 minutes.
Season to taste with Sea Salt and Pepper. Can be refrigerated for up to one week.
