Caramelized Balsamic Onions

Ingredients
  • 3 medium onions, cut in thin wedges

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar

  • 3 tbsp water

  • Sea Salt, to taste

  • Black Pepper, to taste

Instructions
  • SautĂ© onions in olive oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat for 5 minutes. Add sugar, balsamic vinegar and water, and cook for another 5 minutes.

  • Season to taste with Sea Salt and Pepper. Can be refrigerated for up to one week.
